Replacing existing nurse call installation
The Median Rehabilitation Center in Bernkastel-Kues, Germany consists of several clinics within one site, of which 1 clinic with an extension has been equipped with a new call system in accordance with DIN VDE0834. The clinic has a total of 310 rooms – including 196 beds – which have been equipped with the new nurse call IP as a hybrid solution.
Challenge
- Replacement of the existing German brand nursecall, during daily continuity of all hospital activities. 2 buildings to be interconnected as one multi-side, using one telephony/DECT solution.
Solution
- The decision for iCall was based on its outstanding quality, its open standards and the cost-effectiveness. The existing cable network could be reused and the connection to the alarm server, telephone/DECT system was ensured via a Netrix interface. All in full accordance with the DIN VDE 0834.

- The tailor-made, fully intergrated nursecall solutions ensure an efficient, precisely coordinated, close collaboration of specialists in the treatment of multiple illnesses, which affect older patients in particular.

Challenge

Solution
The decision in favor of the new nurse call system via ConDigi is based on ongoing customer trust through the project support from concept planning through implementation to system handover, the quality of the system and the company and the cost-effectiveness of the system solution offered – plus that of the The mobile solution provided free of charge could be installed during day-to-day operations and the ongoing free remote dial-in support was available for programming.
